Terms of sale and use

1. Who these terms are between

These terms cover your use of this website and the licence you get to the code we publish. The business behind gtavifivem.com is identified at the bottom of this page. In the rest of this page "we" and "us" means that business, and "you" means the person or the company using the site or running our code.

These terms do not cover the payment itself. That contract is with Tebex - see the next section.

2. Who you are actually buying from

Every purchase on this site is completed by Tebex Limited acting as merchant of record. Tebex buys the licences from us and resells them to you, so when you press Checkout the contract of sale is formed between you and Tebex, not between you and us. Tebex takes the payment, works out and settles the tax, issues the receipt, delivers the files and handles chargebacks and disputes.

This is not a workaround we invented. Tebex is the monetisation partner Cfx.re documents for FiveM content, so FiveM script shops check out through Tebex. Their buyer terms are the ones you agree to at checkout: Tebex terms and conditions.

What that split means in practice:

• Invoices, receipts, tax questions, payment problems, chargebacks and refunds are Tebex's. Start with the link in the receipt email Tebex sends you.
• The code, the licence, installation, bugs, updates and compatibility are ours. Start on our support page.

We can ask Tebex to refund you and we do that when it is warranted, but the decision and the money movement are Tebex's. The refunds and cancellations page sets that out in full.

3. What we sell

We sell server-side resources for FiveM: Lua scripts and their assets, installed by the owner of a FiveM server into that server's resources folder. That is the whole product. We do not sell client-side modifications, cheats, aimbots, menus, injectors, account services, boosting, in-game currency or anything that changes another player's game without the server owner installing it.

You need your own FiveM server, and you need the frameworks and dependencies listed on the product page. Every product page states which frameworks are stable, beta or unsupported. Read that section before you buy. If you are not sure, ask us on the support page first.

4. Prices, currency and tax

Prices are shown on each product page in the currency our Tebex store is configured in, and they are the prices Tebex charges. Price excludes tax - any VAT is added at checkout. Tebex determines your VAT or sales tax from the country you enter at checkout and adds it on top of the listed price, so the number on the final checkout screen is the total you pay. Some payment methods add their own currency-conversion or gateway fees; those are between you and your payment provider.

There are no shipping costs, handling fees, setup fees or hidden subscription fees anywhere on this site. Nothing here bills you without you pressing a button that says what it will cost.

5. Delivery

Delivery is electronic, immediate and automatic. There is no physical shipment, so there is no delivery address, no delivery time and no shipping charge. The moment your payment clears, Tebex emails a receipt and a download link to the address you typed into the checkout. You can use that link again later to download the files you bought.

We never see that email address, so we cannot resend a receipt or a download link - only Tebex can. If it has not arrived, check spam for "Tebex", then use the Tebex support link in that receipt email.

6. What you may do with the code

When you buy, you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and run the resource on FiveM servers that you operate or that are operated for you. The licence does not expire and there is no activation step. It is a licence, not a sale of the copyright: we keep ownership of the code.

You may:

• Install and run it on your own server, and keep running it indefinitely.
• Configure it, and - where the resource ships as readable source - edit it, extend it and strip out parts you do not want, for use on your own server.
• Let a developer or a hosting provider working for you install and configure it on that server.
• Keep a backup copy.

You may not:

• Resell, sublicense, rent, give away, publish or leak the files, in whole or in part, modified or unmodified.
• Upload them to a public repository, a file host, a leak site or a Discord server that redistributes them.
• Remove or obscure copyright notices, or pass the work off as your own.
• Bypass, crack or attempt to decrypt escrowed files.

Breaking the redistribution rules ends the licence. It is also, in practice, the thing that makes small FiveM developers stop publishing, which is the honest reason it matters to us.

7. What the code you get looks like

The delivery model is stated on every product page and on every card, and it is the most important thing to understand before you buy.

Neither model contains a licence check. There is no key to paste into a config, nothing calls back to us while your server runs, and we do not operate a licence server, so there is nothing on our side that could switch off a copy you already have. Buy a script outright and every version is yours for life.

8. Refunds and the right of withdrawal

Because Tebex is the merchant of record, refunds are Tebex's to grant, and Tebex's default position for digital goods is that a completed purchase is final except where consumer law says otherwise. Consumer law does say otherwise in some cases, and we do not try to sign that away.

If you are a consumer in the EU or the EEA you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on digital content. It can be lost once download starts, but only if all three legal conditions are met - your express prior consent, your acknowledgement that you lose the right, and a confirmation of the contract on a durable medium. Those are captured, or not, inside the Tebex checkout. Separately, and regardless of withdrawal, you keep your statutory rights when something is faulty or is not what was described.

9. Support, and what we actually commit to

Support for the code is ours, and it is a real commitment rather than a courtesy. We aim to answer within 72 hours and normally answer far faster. Support covers installation, configuration, framework compatibility, bugs and updates for the products you bought.

The routes are on the support page: our Discord, which is fastest, and the contact address at the bottom of this page. Include your framework, the script version and the exact console error - that alone resolves most cases.

Payment, invoice and refund questions are not something we can action directly. Use the Tebex link in your receipt email, or ask us and we will tell you what to send Tebex.

10. What we do not promise

We say what our code does and we do not oversell it. What we cannot promise:

• That a resource will work on a server we have never seen, running a framework version or a mix of other resources we have not tested. Compatibility is stated per product, honestly, including what is unsupported.
• That a FiveM or Cfx.re platform update will never break something. When it does, we fix it - that is what updates are for.
• Uptime or performance of your server, your host, FiveM, Cfx.re, Discord or Tebex.
• Any particular result for your server: player numbers, revenue or retention.

Nothing on this page limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our liability to you for anything connected with a product is limited to the amount paid for that product. Because Tebex is the seller, anything arising from the transaction itself is dealt with under Tebex's terms.

11. Using this website

The site is free to browse. Do not attack it, scrape it at a rate that degrades it, or try to break into anything. The site text, images and layout are ours. The newsletter form is opt-in and you can ask to be removed at any time - see the privacy policy.

You must be at least 16 years old to buy, which is the age limit Tebex applies at checkout.

12. Fair use of support and the Discord

Leaking our files ends your licence, your support and your place in our Discord. So does an unjustified chargeback - one raised without contacting us first, on a purchase you carry on using. Raising a genuine payment dispute never does; that is your right and we would rather you used it than stayed stuck.

13. Trademarks and affiliation

We are an independent developer. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Cfx.re, Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. FiveM, Cfx.re, Grand Theft Auto and all other names used on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners, and are used only to describe what our resources are compatible with.

14. Changes

We can change these terms - for example when the products change or the law does. The date at the top of this page is when it last changed. A change never applies retroactively to a purchase you have already made; the version live when you bought is the one that governs that purchase.

15. Complaints, and the law that applies

Tell us first. Most things that look like a legal problem are a bug or a misunderstanding and are fixed the same day. Write to the address below and we will answer.

If your complaint is about the payment, the invoice, the tax or a refund, it belongs with Tebex as the seller, under their terms.

If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in applies to you whatever else this page says, and you can always bring a claim there.
